Anushka Shetty starrer big budgeted drama Rudramadevi’s shoot is progressing at a fast pace. The makers of the film informed that from today (10 March 2014) the shooting will happen at a lavish set that has been erected at the Annapoorna Seven Acres in Hyderabad. This set has been designed by Padmashree Thota Tharani. The scenes that will be shot here are very critical.




Director and producer of the film, Gunashekar said, “We are filming in this set the sequences involving Rani Rudramadevi taking crucial decisions with her regional rulers from all parts of India. The set of Veera Mantapam is going to be main highlight in the film.”

Anushka Shetty, Rana, Catherine Tresa, Nithya Menen, Prakash Raj, Aditya Menon and others will take part in this shoot schedule which will tentatively finish on 5th April, Gunashekar said. Rudramadevi is made in 3D.

The film is about Rani Rudrama Devi, the great Kakatiya ruler. Anushka Shetty is seen in the title role, while Rana is acting Chalakya Veerabadrudu, Prakash Raj as Siva Devayya and Beba Sehgal as Nagadevudu. Maestro Ilayaraja is scoring the music.
